Burgundy En Primeur 2022 Tasting

After two weeks of tastings at over 40 domaines it is abundantly clear that 2022 is a vintage of high quality and great promise. It is a year that sits amongst the ‘solaire’ vintages, yet one that offers exceptional (and surprising) freshness as well as great ripeness, seductive textures alongside moderate alcohols, and concentration allied to a luminous lift. It is also a rare year that appears to offer equally thrilling wines in both colours. Roaming the Côte we found quality at every level, from the humblest appellations to the greatest of Grands Crus. The reds, to generalise, are dynamic and supple with expressive aromatic profiles and great vineyard definition. The whites are not explosive, but rather they build and grow on the palate with, at times, remarkable persistence.  We hope that you’ll be able to join us at One Great George Street, home of our Burgundy EP Tasting for over 15 years, to discover a vintage that is not to be missed.
