Tasting Note:

More classical than the riper 2015, the 2016 has a heady bouquet of violet with sweet small cherries and black raspberry notes. Subtly herbal but stony too, with a Burgundian shape that caresses and seduces without feeling at all heavy. A real limestone driven wine with fine, vivid fruit and chalky tannins – tense and sophisticated, with the requisite quality to stand shoulder to shoulder with the best of them. In the words of Stephan Reinhardt, “it’s all about style here: purity, freshness, finesse and elegance.” We wholeheartedly agree.
