Baron de Brane, Margaux, 2017

Tasting Note:

The second wine from the high flying Brane Cantenac is produced from 53% Merlot, 41% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc and 1% Carmenère. It has an easy going charm, a nice richness of fruit, hints of plums, chocolate and toast. It's not overly complex, but it should provide really good early to mid-term drinking. The tannins are velvety and there's a touch of salty blackberry on the finish.
