Château Charmail, Haut Médoc, 2003

Tasting Note:

A blend of 55% Merlot 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc, the 2004 was the result of severe crop thinning during the summer, the vineyard team making three ‘passages’ through the vines. Very “Charmail” this is a dense packed velvet-textured wine of tremendous character, bursting with rich berry fruit and bitter sweet dark chocolate notes.
