Château Chasse Spleen, Médoc, 2009

Tasting Note:

Whilst local rival Poujeaux has produced a monstrous 2009, Chasse Spleen has produced something rather more refined and classical. Heady flowers, blackcurrant cordial and fresh mint aromas leap from the glass. This has wonderful concentration with a searing black fruit attack. A wine of wonderful freshness, purity and charm. There is ample composed fruit and beautifully chiselled tannins. A really delicious Chasse Spleen with energy, precision and focus. Beautiful.
