Tasting Note:

Endowed with considerable structure, monumental tannins, and copious quantities of rich, ripe fruit. On the nose there is pure cassis with pretty floral notes, smoky tobacco leaf, fresh herbs and green peppercorn; on the palate the fruit is complex, blackberry, juicy damson and black cherry, layered and sophisticated; full-bodied, expansive and silky in the mouth, there is real class and impressive balance and length. Missing though is that typical Cos spice, but nevertheless, this is one of the finest wines of the vintage. A blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot and 3% Cabernet Franc, and 55% of the yield has been classified Grand Vin.
