Tasting Note:

A blend of 75% Semillon 23% Suavignon and 2% Muscadelle. The result of five “tries” and benefiting from a good crop from the best parcel, which yielded 17 hl/ha, this is one of the most beautifully balanced Coutets we have tasted. They themselves call it “a lively modern vintage, balanced and drinkable.” Notes of acacia honey, and as unctuous as ever but with more juice and verve, certainly less overtly sweet than usual. Open, expressive notes of vanilla pod, lemon, mandarin peach and apricot. Harvested between the 21st September and the 18th October with a potential 3000 cases produced instead of the usual 5000.
