Tasting Note:

62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot and 6% Cabernet Franc. This is one of the wines of the vintage. The 2009 was monumental, but this is something else. Deeper than Haut Batailley in every sense... This is a handsome Pauillac that punches well above its 5th growth status. Brooding and complex bouquet with notes of liquid minerals, crème de mûre and cherry stones. The palate is effortlessly suave - this is such a seductive GPL. There are impressive levels of concentration and silky smooth, fine-textured tannins; refined with tremendous length of flavour. This oozes class.
