Tasting Note:

Tasted twice, Veronique Sanders' Haut Bailly 2011 is good, but sadly doesn't come close to the two extraordinary wines produced in 2009 and 2010. Fragrant, enticing bouquet of cut flowers and cherry liqueur leads to a pretty palate boasting, sweet strawberry and raspberry flavours. Pure and svelte, this is a refined Haut Bailly with a lovely tannic structure, it just lacks the depth and concentration of its two forebears.
