Tasting Note:

A sensational nose of ripe tropical fruit from this outstanding white, with peaches, lime, mango and papaya, backed by cinnamon, pepper and good mineral freshness. Rich on the palate with an almost oily texture, this sports considerable body but great energy and tension of acidity that balances the weight brilliantly. A grippy, thrilling and clean finish with hints of chalky/flinty minerals. 2007 was another very early harvest for the whites at Haut-Brion, taking place between August 28th and September 11th. Production is even lower than usual, with less than 500 cases somehow to be distributed between the many lovers of this exceptional wine. A blend of 45% Semillon and 55% Sauvignon Blanc.
