Tasting Note:

The seriously impressive Haut Brion Blanc 2012, a blend of 55% Sauvignon, 45% Semillon, comes across initially more citrus and elderflower dominated than La Mission. It is more linear and direct in style, though that's not to say this isn't a big powerful statuesque wine. Sanguinello orange notes appear on the mid palate with soft fleshed sun warmed lemons on an immensely long, concentrated and persistent finish. Very strong indeed.
