Tasting Note:

Deep and harmonious on the nose, with classic pure blackcurrant fruit; the fruit dominates on the palate also, with pure fresh cassis blending with berries and currants, all backed by hints of fruitcake and almonds. Tasted again two days later there was more focus on the terroir, showing a more serious, Pauillac side to the wine. In both cases the fruit is fully ripe and the tannins are mouth-coating but very fine. Deep, with delicate mushroomy tinges, lots of grip and great balance. A fine Lynch.
