Tasting Note:

The best Mouton for several years and potentially a great wine in the mould of the legendary 1986. Significantly yields are 20% lower than recent years (25 hectolitres per hectare) Opaque dense purple colour. Hedonistic aromas bursting with ripe blackcurrant, leather and cedar. Ripe opulent firm black fruits, voluptuous silky tannins and exotic fruits. The near 10% of Cabernet Franc and 77% Cabernet Sauvignon make for a great Mouton.
