Tasting Note:

This, like so many 2007s has developed beautifully. The nose shows signs of evolution: hints of cedar, tobacco, ripe cassis, leather and dried flowers. There is a plushness and generosity to the fruit, coupled with silky tannins and low acidity that makes this a real pleasure to taste. With aeration it opens up into a classically styled Margaux: fragrant and ripe with an abundance of noble Cabernet flavours. It's a delight to drink now and should drink well until 2030.
