The 2022 de Rayne Vigneau is a blend of 75% Semillon and 25% Sauvignon Blanc, with 150 g/L residual sugar. Pale to medium straw in color, it has a nose of pineapple tart and juicy nectarines with hints of crushed rocks, nutmeg, and jasmine tea. The palate is full-on rich and hedonic with plenty of freshness and a wall of citrussy flavors, finishing just a touch warm.

The 2022 Rayne-Vigneau has an attractive bouquet with pure wild honey and peach aromas, orange pith and quince. There is some oak to be subsumed during élevage. The palate is well balanced with a tangy entry, very pure with marmalade and peach toward the finish. I like the precision here and it should mature with style.
