The 2022 Sigalas Rabaud is pale lemon-gold in color. Scents of lemon curd, fresh pineapple, and lime leaves waft from the glass, with hints of fresh ginger, chalk dust, and coriander seed. The palate is bright, refreshing, and breezy with vibrant citrus fruit and a zippy finish.

The 2022 Sigalas Rabaud, which at 134g/L residual sugar, has a fragrant bouquet with yellow plum, orange blossom and apricot scents that unfurl in the glass. The palate is well balanced with crisp mineralité and tension, fanning out gently toward the finish with lemon curd and orange zest. Real precision and energy in this Sauternes.

Château Sigalas Rabaud

Château Sigalas Rabaud

Siglas Rabaud is a 1er Cru Classé, located in the appellation of Sauternes. It is the smallest first growth with a plot of 14 hectares located within 500 meters of Chateau d’Yquem. The soil is silica-gravel that lies on a layer of clay. Three prominent characteristics of Siglas Rabaud are floral, lime blossom notes and aromas of white fruit, stoned fruit and citrus. It is said that these are some of the most ‘feminine’ wines from the Sauternes commune.
