Tasting Note:

Tasting with Jacques Thienpont is always a pleasure, and the second vintage produced from the new winery was no different. Hedonistic, floral, crème de framboise, gourmand aromas bound from the glass. As one expects from Le Pin, the palate is decadent and generous, with a broad array of nuances and layers. Wild strawberries, lacy black fruits and raspberries delight the palate. There is ample depth; in fact it is quite a profound, concentrated effort, but remains dainty and bright throughout. Robed in silk, the filigree tannins are the hallmark of this 100% Merlot cuvee. One of our group couldn’t resist quoting the great poet LMFAO when describing this wine...
