Tasting Note:

Possibly the most complete wine in the J P Moueix tasting, the 2009 Providence is a big, impressive, brooding Pomerol with profound depth and concentration, but is also fine and very stylish. The nose is multidimensional with brooding savoury notes, black fruits, interspersed with high toned berry fruits, minerals and exotic flowers. The palate is an impressive melting pot of super ripe fruit, crushed berries and sweet blueberries. This is the densest wine in the range with layer after layer of intense, creamy, velvety, dark fruit. Although this is sumptuous and decadent, it is sultry and a wine of enormous power, richness and complexity that will require considerable patience. A true vin de garde.
