Tasting Note:

There’s a step up in finesse here as the Puligny villages’ long, haunting ethereal finish offers up plenty of persistence but no excess weight. A very finely textured wine, entirely Puligny in style. Fine stones jostle on the finish. Late pruning and bougies helped to alleviate the worst of the damage in their Puligny vines. From numerous plots including a particularly fine parcel on a slope called les Meix, near the Grands Crus, next to Enseigneurs. Fermentation and élévage take place in 350 litre barrels, with no bâtonnage, for 12 months before six months in stainless steel.
