Tasting Note:

The Hameau de Blagny vineyard is one of the highest in the Puligny commune, perched at the top of the slope towards the Blagny hamlet on the Meursault side of the commune. The soils here are poor and limestone dominated giving very taut mineral wines. The essence of this wine is a fine chalky core - long, cool and vital citrus fruit with a strong mineral component complemented by a whisper of ripe yellow plum and peach fruit. Effortlessly and beautifully proportioned.
