Much more reserved than the Referts, this takes time to reveal its many colours, gradually disclosing bursts of juicy complex flavours. A builder,
this progressively drip feeds you citrus, dry stone and mineral notes finishing with hints of honeysuckle. Long, haunting fresh and savoury finish. One of the top vineyards in Puligny next to Caillerets, where the soil is particularly poor and stony but well exposed to the sun. From an exceptionally well-situated parcel in the northernmost corner of this great vineyard, right next to the Leflaive vines. Aged in 10 percent new oak.
