Tasting Note:

Average age of the vines is 25 years old, after picking by hand the grapes are sorted and the wine is then aged for 21 months in oak barrels with 40% new wood. Bottled after a light collage and no filtration, this is an extremely fine example of a Grands Charrons. An impressive wine that matches many a Premier Cru Meursault, fearfully intense and concentrated, a really striking and electric wine, explosive flavours of nuts, gunflint, sicilian lemon, grapefruit and limes, faint richer touches of butter and honey, with a bright shimmering mineral quality on the long long finish. Breathtaking.
