Forthcoming, generous ripe fruit from the off, wonderful flavours of sicilian lemon and greengage with riper touches of Mirabelle, finishing with a crisp steeliness and lingering notes of flint. Average age of the vines here is 25 years old, after picking by hand the grapes are sorted and the wine is then aged for 21 months in oak barrels with 40% new wood.
