Tasting Note:

Ample, suave flavours of small intense fruits steeped in liqueur alongside notes of fresh damson, red berry and bramble. Wonderfully expressive; a certain opulence without being too much. Stylish and fine as well as being powerful. A glorious Grand Cru of the highest quality. Two thirds of this plot were planted in 1912 and the remainder in 1972. The parcel extends upwards on the slope. The upper part, poorer and stony, gives an aromatic wine of great finesse whereas the lower part, richer and clayey, brings power and richness.
