Tasting Note:

Suave, warm and corpulent; velvety plum and cherry fruit, deep cooling minerals with ripe tinges of crème de cassis and kirsch, high-toned floral touches with earthier spiced fruit, herb, undergrowth and stone characteristics. An incredible wine that could easily live with some of the most prestigious single vineyard wines of the Côte d’Or in a blind tasting. A legendary Savigny parcel of extremely old vines, many of which were planted back in 1902.
