Tasting Note:

A micro parcel of just 1000 vines in the cooler part of Chambertin near the forest, making just one barrel of wine. Vigorous, muscled but showing good, crisp fresh fruit character. Dark, structured and with a bit of chew to it, though the most wonderfully bright minerals shine through and lift the wine. Reticent and a little serious at first but this builds momentum and culminates in a long, vital, reverberating finish. A grand wine indeed.
