Tasting Note:

There is huge intensity and dry extract here and a gripping tannic quality. Great energy despite the intensity and flesh, forceful yet so lively. A very well-situated Monopole lieu-dit from the mid-slope, one the same level as Perrières, that shows more intensity and precision than most Meursault villages. Aged for 15 months in 35% new oak.
