Tasting Note:

The first vineyard to be harvested in 2018, on the 24th August. Early picking has not meant any shortage of character or fullness of flavour, though. Quite the opposite, it feels they have struck the balance just right with this. A wine of such power and gravitas. Suave, long, melt in the mouth flavours of yellow plum, butter and acacia honey followed by a wave of rock salt and mineral character that keeps the wine focused and light on its feet. Intense and harmonious. From two parcels within Perrières Dessus, just above their Bourgogne Terroir d'Exception, and 55-year-old and 45-year-old vines.
