There is quite a structure here framing the fruit, finely-etched but powerful tannins that give this grip. The fruit profile is clear but ripe with beautifully transparent notes of damson, loganberry and griotte. A wine of stature and style. There is an engaging sweetness to the fruit that offset the tannic muscle. 25% whole bunch fermentation.
