Tasting Note:

Beaune Grèves is an entirely different animal from Sizies, with more dimension and an electric style of minerality running through it. The iron rich soils have lent the wine a certain density, with a flavours of wild hedgerow berries, ferrous earth notes and hints of the forest that bring an autumnal feel. A real success. Fermented with a third whole bunches and aged in 20% new oak.
