Tasting Note:

Bright and velvety, alluring, a Volnaysien Pommard but with a little more breadth and less vivacious than the wines of its neighbouring commune. Smooth red and dark fruit flavours of loganberry, tayberry and plum. Nice finely etched and well polished tannins, this has substance but is markedly more refined than your classic Pommard. A fine rocky limestone based Pommard, fermented with a third whole cluster and aged in 30% new oak.
