Tasting Note:

A little reductive and reticent at first but this soon evolves into classy, violet-scented fruit. Citrus peel highlights shimmer through the smooth acacia honey richness. Sumptuous but not lacking in grace. A beauty. Only 25% of this is aged in new oak and the barrels are a mixture of barriques and larger demi-muid barrels so that oak does not influence the flavour profile of the wine too much. The vines are 50 years old.
