Tasting Note:

South facing but rockier and with less clay than La Roche. This yields a very classy, complete Pouilly-Fuissé of ripe fruit and minerality.
This can support a little more new oak than the richer La Roche, Jean Jacques Litaud using 40% new oak barrels for this. Fluid, ripe yellow
plum fruits with a hint of vanilla pod. Infused into the fruit is a very fine and complimentary chalky, minerality. There are no rough edges
here - just pure intensity, character, texture and finesse. There is a sense of coiled energy giving the ripe fruit purpose and definition. Superb.
