Tasting Note:

A stonier terroir than Vaugiraut and this comes through strongly in the wine. Tense, tight notes of crushed rocks with the sunny ripe textured fruit. The fruits profile is at the riper end of the spectrum, notes of guava and yellow fruits, but there is great focus and delineation of flavour here and certainly no excess fat. The vines are an old selection massale that were planted in 1950. A warm terroir with old vines that produces powerful but very refined and stylish Chablis.
