Chambertin Clos de Bèze, Grand Cru, 2019

Tasting Note:

Open-knit and less dark than Clos de Vougeot or Bonnes Mares. Like a deeper more complete version of Latricieres; all elegance and length. This certainly offers hedonistic solaire fruit with notes of damson, griotte and kirsch, but there are layers of complexity here adding plenty of interest. Fermented with 30% whole bunches. Aged in 80% new oak barrels.
