More closed, less upfront than their Chapelle cuvée, however the palate is multi-layered and has real spark to it. Wonderful, really vivid, flavours of dark cherries in chocolate, bright minerals, fresh-cut flowers and red cherry characteristics. Ripe, vital and refreshing. Superb. Latricières is a stonier and windier terroir than the other Grands Crus of Gevrey, producing firm, minerally wines.
