Compact and deep, there is clearly great power and concentration here with a complex earthy side overlaid by silky ripe yellow, honeyed fruits.
Multi-layered and brooding, this requires aeration to reveal itself fully. A great Puligny vineyard situated, mid-slope, above Combettes
and next door to Meursault Perrières, planted on a well-balanced mix of clay and limestone soils. The vines average 50 years old.
