Beautifully crafted, this has all of the elements you could hope for from a Meursault 1er Cru. A classic. Voluminous, but with proper structure and definition. Multi-layered and with great energy, this is a seriously accomplished and sophisticated wine in the classic Meursault mould. Fleshy stone fruit, Mirabelle, melted butter and hazelnut characteristics with some more high-toned floral notes of honeysuckle, speckled with mineral highlights. A racy citrus note cuts through all of this to complete the very complex, harmonious picture.
