Tasting Note:

Much higher toned than the Bourgogne, offering up fine red berries, cool stones, herbs and delicate spices. Very lacy and taut with great tension, a real sense of the perfume of crushed rocks and wild cherry. Very much driven by its limestone minerality, this sits high on the palate. Very fine. A veritable old vines cuvée split across three lieux dits - Cras, Vignot, Chagnieres - half of the parcels were planted in the 1950s, the rest in the 1980s.
