Tasting Note:

A wine that expresses its origins very clearly. Noticeably slighter and skinnier than the Meursaults, this is slender and silky Puligny that also offers the sun-kissed, ripe fruit touch so typical of this vintage. Mirabelle, wild honey, confit golden berries and crushed stone notes glide across the palate. Delicate, open and soft, with a chalky note offsetting the richness of the vintage. A very fine Puligny village vineyard towards the top of the slope on the north side of the village, just underneath Les Perrieres. Here there is a predominance of limestone. Les Nosroyes is a well drained vineyard that typially yields finely-etched but ripe fruited wines with a chalky finish. Aged in 20% new oak for 12 months followed by 6 months in tank.
