Chambolle Musigny, Les Amoureuses, 1er Cru, 2017

Tasting Note:

A different kettle of fish to the Chambolle Cras. Not as racy but a lot more charming, gentle and ethereal. Beautiful gliding, fruit. The tannins are noble but are present enough to give the wine definition and spine. Striking, clear fruit flavours of loganberry, bramble raspberry and strawberry. An Amoureuses of force but not without a touch of class. Fermented with 60% whole bunches yet this is barely noticeable such is this wine’s effortlessness and elegance.
