Tasting Note:

Véroilles is one of Chambolle’s highest Crus, along with Fuées, adjacent to Bonnes, often producing very intense, racy and tight-knit wines. A lifting ripe fruit nose, a little heavier than the Fuées on the palate, thicker and denser with a fine ripe tannic ridge running through it. Initially brooding, but this opens out with aeration into a wonderful plethora of bright cherry fruit flavours, combined with notes of sweet plum and faint touches of liquorice. First class.
