Hubert Lamy

St Aubin

Grape Variety:

St Aubin, La Princée, 2016

Tasting Note:

A blend of 10 parcels from across Lamy’s St Aubin holdings, but predominantly the stonier more mineral terroirs. Certainly at the racier end of the St Aubin spectrum. Bursting with incisive, fresh lemon characteristics together with a crispy apply crunch and background saline notes. Glacial, transparent and bright. The wine is aged in a mixture of barriques and larger demi muid casks for around 12 months followed by a year in tank. Only one to five year old barrels are used, there is never any new oak employed.
