Tasting Note:

Backward and introvert on the nose, opening up with air to reveal notes of stones and flint. On the palate a bold spicy character to the fruit, buttered nuts and rich honeyed citrus fruits. A muscular, powerful Batard. A vineyard plot in the commune of Chassagne-Montrachet planted on brown limestone and clay soils with some broken stones in the upper part of the vineyard. A gentle slope results in good drainage. The exposure to the sun is an ideal south to south east.
