Includes 35% whole bunch and 18 months in barrel, harvested on 7th September. Masses of concentration and complexity, Musigny is utterly magnificent. Sweetly silky and pure red and black fruit cloaks, sophisticated, finely-etched tannins and gentle, almost unnoticeable acidity. Explosive on the attack, but so controlled and shapely through the mid-palate and finish. Spellbinding.
