Tasting Note:

A first-class vineyard, high up in Vosne overlooking Richebourg, adjacent to Cros Parantoux and Aux Reignots. Deep, complex and serious on the nose; fine blackcurrant and blackberries with bitter cherries on the cusp of austerity, endowed with finely-etched fruit tannins. Lovely delineation and shape; the fruit is all at the front of the palate such is its linearity. Very long bramble spices and bitter cocoa. It keeps giving more and more. Includes 40% whole clusters and a 26-day maceration period. Petits Monts will undergo 18 months maturation in barrel before bottling.
