Tasting Note:

Classic Volnay elegance. Soft and inviting red cherry and wild strawberry fruit with a fine salty minerality. Gorgeous. Such an elegant minerality, seamless and with an ethereal quality. Lovely small red fruits. Like stones wrapped in silk. Unobtrusive but with a stylish intensity and focus. Situated on the south side of village, Cailleret’s steep, well exposed slope and poor, stony soil make it one of the finest Crus in the commune. Part of the blend is from vines planted in 1990 another part is from 50 year-old vines bought by Guillaume in 2013.
