Tasting Note:

A surprising, captivating nose of aromatic red and dark berry notes, fruitier than this usually but with classic Taillepieds structure on the palate. Dense but crisp dark forest berry flavours, notes of sloe and plum, suggestion of stone and herb with a mineral kick on the finish. From a parcel in the high part of the village. The slope here is very steep and well exposed, the soil is very white, poor and stony, giving wines that are racy and tight-packed in their youth that reward hugely given time.
