Tasting Note:

Richer and very structured but velvety and finer tannins than the Marsannay. Heady, warming notes of spiced plums and brambles. Suave, layered and gripping. Smart Fixin. From high quality parcels on the slopes at the bottom of the Le Clos and Les Herbues hills, perhaps more worthy of Premier Cru status. Along with Marsannay this ages for less time in oak barriques than the other Meo-Camuzet wines, between a maximum of 10 to 12 months, and there is very little new oak to preserve the charming fruity freshness of the wine.
