Tasting Note:

A closed nose, intense concentration, more richness than the Grande Montagne; very complete if a little less spark. There is lots of extract and steely stone notes complement the buttery texture. This needs time but all the elements are there in perfect harmony. A very serious Chassagne 1er Cru. The Pillots have a small 0.26-hectare in this magnificent vineyard that yields very concentrated, statuesque Chassagne.
